How it actually works
Most anti-snap cylinders rely on a sacrificial break point: the outer section snaps off cleanly under attack, but the inner mechanism stays intact and locked. Avocet ABS uses a different approach on top of that — a patented cam-locking design. If the cylinder is snapped, the cam locks itself against the internal case, physically blocking manipulation of the lock from the point of the break. Even a successful snap doesn’t give an intruder a way through.
